FILORGA, the 1st French aesthetic medicine laboratory founded in 1978, originally designed, developed and produced injectable products that were used by leading medical specialists all over the world.

 

In 2007,the brand made its expertise in aesthetic medicine available to the general public upon the creation of MEDI-COSMETIQUE, a range of revolutionary anti-ageing products formulated with NCEF, a unique compound encapsulating the active ingredients used in injections.

 

More than fifty cosmetic products have become available over time, all of which share the same principle: to combine optimal and clinically proven effectiveness visible in 7 days* with sensorial textures and premium packaging.

FILORGA: KEY DATES

 

1978

Michel Tordjman, a French doctor of aesthetic medicine and enthusiastic cellular biologist, began research on skin ageing that led him to focus on cellular rejuvenation through mesotherapy. Long before the phenomenal success of Botox, he developed injectable products with hyaluronic acid for use by the medical profession and created NCTF, a revitalizing anti-ageing solution that acts on the 6 key parameters of skin quality: hydration, wrinkles, firmness, radiance, evenness and pores. Initially used by medical staff in anti-ageing meso therapy injections, NCTF later gave way to NCEF, the encapsulated compound used in the cosmetic range for profound skin penetration.

 

2000

 

Laboratoires Filorga launched GLYKOPEEL, a range of anti-ageing glycolic acid peels for useby doctors to rejuvenate the skin and improve its condition.

 

2007

 

Laboratoires Filorga launched their MEDI-COSMETIQUE cosmetic range for the general public, directly inspired by aesthetic medicine. Products launched at the time, including Optim-eyes and Meso-Mask*, became iconic best-sellers.

2009

 

The aesthetic medicine branch of Laboratoires Filorga launched X-HA3. The range of injectable products was enlarged with X-HA Volume (to combat deep lines and restore volume) and MHA18 (superficial lines) in 2010.

 

2014

 

Renewal of the range of peels with the introduction of TIME PEEL, BRIGHT PEEL and LIGHTPEEL, the 1st made-to-measure superficial peels with gluconolactone for enhanced tolerance, even on sensitive skin.

 

2016

 

The aesthetic medicine branch of Laboratoires Filorga, where the ART-FILLER range was developed, created and inaugurated one of the few global production units capable of producing injectable hyaluronic acid-based products, a new generation of fillers comprised of 4 injectable products to be used by aesthetic doctors as an adaptable method to fill wrinkles.

 

2017

 

Filorga’s MEDI-COSMETIQUE range became the leading anti-ageing range in pharmacies and prepharmacies in France*
